On Saturday, December 18, 2021, Love in Action Ohio partnered with Shore Cultural Centre for our Covid Clinic. Our mission was to promote the education, prevention, and vaccination of residents in the Greater Cleveland area.

The Cuyahoga Board of Health and MetroHealth System collaborated to provide education and to vaccinate residents. This successful event resulted in 147 people getting vaccinated with either their 1st, 2nd, or booster shot. This was accomplished as a result of the outstanding community outreach by all involved. The partner motto is “the more we can educate the more lives we can save.”

Love in Action Ohio is aware that there is a great deal of misinformation in the community, especially in minority communities where Covid-19 vaccination numbers are still considerably lower than those of others. Love in Action Ohio is taking a direct approach by providing masks and hand sanitizers to residents, as well as education on social distancing and proper handwashing.

Our goal is to stop the rise in confirmed cases of Covid-19, and help prevent severe illness, hospitalizations, and avoidable deaths. We are on the front lines of battling Covid-19 and take seriously our mission to save lives. We encourage residents to speak with their doctors or other health professionals to receive factual information about Covid-19 and vaccinations. We must work together to defeat this ongoing culprit. We owe it to each other to do our best to prevent and battle the spread of this deadly virus.

Together We Stand, Divided We Fall
